About C Wellness UK
C Wellness UK was set up by a group of healthcare professionals, comprising pharmacists, doctors and medical technicians. Our aim is to source and provide the highest quality cannabis oil/ CBD products, whilst being on hand to provide sound and reasonable medical advice – from our experience with using cannabinoids in patients.
What is CBD oil?
CBD oil is soaring in popularity due to the many clinical studies proving its effectiveness in managing certain conditions.
CBD oil or cannabis oil is the concentrated liquid extract of the marijuana plant.
The cannabis plant is an amazing plant, it’s made up of over 100 different cannabinoids, these cannabinoids all have different impacts on the body and are concentrated to different extents in certain parts of the plant.
The two most well-known of these cannabinoids are THC and CBD.
For over 10 years, our directors have specialised in working with patients who have a variety of difficult to treat diseases. We have enabled our patients to access treatments not available on the NHS by utilising a safe, compliant, supply chain underpinned by a full understanding of the regulatory mechanisms which exist in the United Kingdom. The quality of the product in your hands is only as strong as the weakest link in the supply chain.
It is through this vast experience in looking at non-NHS, or off-label medicines, that we gained great interest in Cannabinoids.
Our drive and passion comes from the results of our patients’ positive experiences when using CBD.
Our CBD products
Although the body of research is growing on a weekly basis, it may still be some time until pure Cannabis products are available on the NHS.
We have experience in both the “Full Extract” – containing THC and CBD, and also the purified oils that can bought without prescription (Pure CBD).
We believe we have the highest quality and purity oils in the UK. Each pack comes with its own batch code, which you can trace directly to a laboratory test showing exactly what is in the bottle.
Whereas other companies might sell CBD Oil, we actively test every single product to check for safety, accuracy and potency. No other company puts as much effort into producing a product compliant with the same standards as pharmaceuticals.
We felt that it was time to enable people who may benefit from our Oils the ability to try them for themselves.
With over ten thousand patients currently accessing our various services, our patients have reported the benefits for a number of diseases, these include:
– Multiple Sclerosis
– Lyme disease
– Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis
– Certain cancers (in direct association with oncologists)
– Chronic Fatigue
– ME and associated conditions
– Neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.
THC vs CBD
Many customers get confused, particularly when it comes to THC and CBD.
THC is the primary psychoactive compound in marijuana, basically, this is what gets you high.
CBD, however, isn’t known to cause any psychoactive effects and as a result, many people prefer the Cannabinoid products as they don’t want that high.
Cannabis Products that contain THC in the UK must have little or no THC at all, to be specific, the Home Office says that it can contain a maximum THC content of 0.2%.
As cannabinoids do not have any psychoactive properties, you can buy it in the UK as a ‘food supplement’.
The medicinal properties of Cannabinoids based on studies are:
– Relieving inflammation
– Pain Relief
– Help reduce anxiety
– Help manage certain conditions
– Cancer killing properties
Due to the regulations in the United Kingdom, we are unable to make any medical claims for Cannabis Products whatsoever, as the body of evidence has not reached the point where this is possible.
The products sold on this website are ‘Food Supplements’ only, however, we manufacture and produce our products to the exact same standards as we prescribe and dispense on a daily basis to our patients.
Medical Studies & Research
With the awareness of the benefits of Cannabis increasing at a high rate, more and more studies are being conducted to show the results of its effect on certain conditions.
